Book Works

Book Works was founded in 2017 in NYC. Much like the jazz repertoire which is built upon the chord changes of ‘standards’, Book Works investigates and builds off both musical and visual elements alike. The brand is currently stocked in 27+ retail stores worldwide and has been featured in Vogue Italia, Popeye Magazine Japan, Grind Magazine Japan, Sneeze Magazine & others.

Having studied music his entire life, Oskar is an award winning professional musician, engineer, DJ and radio host who has worked with such artists as Wynton Marsalis, Max Roach, Sonny Rollins and Amy Winehouse. After graduating from the Jazz & Contemporary Music program at the New School University he was taken under the wing of Grammy award winning DJ/ producer Mark Ronson in 2006 and was heavily involved with Allido Records both in and out of the studio. He then was instrumental in helping set up the reissue project at Wax Poetics Magazine with Amir The King Of Diggin.
