August aims to ship all orders out within two business days of order placement.

August mainly uses USPS to ship both domestic and international orders.

Your shipping rate is determined by the weight and destination of the order.

If you have received a shipping notification, August is unable to make any changes to your order.

August is unable to combine orders or add items to orders.

Customers are responsible for their own return shipping.

August sometimes undergoes periods of high order volume where shipping times can exceed the two business day window.

All U.S. orders are trackable via USPS Priority Mail or UPS.

August is not responsible for lost, damaged or misdelivered orders. Please contact the mail currier to help locate your package and/or file a claim.

International Orders

USPS estimates to most major markets. Does not include passage through customs.

International Custom Duties are not included in the shipping fee. 

International orders may be charged customs fees by the destination country's government and these are not included in August's shipping fee.

August is not responsible for any additional taxes or duties the destination country imposes.

Due to the customs process, delivery times are estimates and may take longer than stated.

August is not responsible for lost/damaged international orders shipped via USPS.


Returns will be accepted only for store credit within 14 days of receipt. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a credit or exchange.



All items must have an approved RMA before being shipped. Orders sent back without an RMA will not receive a refund or store credit.

An RMA must be requested within 7 days of package delivery and items must be posted to August within 7 days of the RMA being granted.

All returns must be authorized via email or phone prior to shipping. Items returned without authorization may be refused upon delivery. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Socks and garment care products are final sale and may not be returned.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.


Refunds do not apply to items bought in-store. The policy outlined below pertains to items bought online that arrived damaged.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Any packages August receives that are marked "Return to Sender" or "Refused" will not be eligible for a refund - customers may have the order shipped to them one additional time or receive store credit.

August will only grant a refund for damaged product ordered online if the following conditions are met:

• All items must be unused and unworn

• Clothing must be clean and unwashed with all tags attached - once clothing has been worn and/or washed it cannot be returned or exchanged

• Shoes must not be worn or creased to the point where they would be deemed worn or not 100% brand new merchandise. Once shoes have been worn, they cannot be returned or exchanged

• All shoes must be returned in their original packaging 

• August does not refund shipping on returns

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale Items

All items bought on sale are final sale. Only regular priced items may be exchanged or accepted for store credit within 14 days of purchase.


We cannot hold stock for exchanges - in order to exchange your item please submit a new order online. The original order will be refunded on receipt of the return.

Size exchanges must be requested within 7 days of delivery.

August will issue a return label if an item is faulty or an error was made by August.

August will not be held responsible for any return packages lost in the post, therefore please keep your postage receipt as proof of postage and value the items at the price in which you paid for the product(s).

If you have received a defective item, please contact August with your order number and issue. Once the issue is verified, August will provide a return label. Do not mail an item back without authorization from August.

All rights to determine a product defective are retained by August.

Defects or incorrect orders must be reported to August within 7 days of delivery.
